Scottish Affairs Committee (SAC)
Introduction
The Faculty is a United Kingdom organisation but concerns itself with matters relating specifically to Scotland through its Scottish Affairs Committee. This consists of elected members from all the Scottish Health Boards and representatives from other areas of public health practice.
The current Convenor of the Scottish Affairs Committee is Professor Cairns Smith.
