CPD accreditation for meetings
22 March 2010
The FPH has developed some guidelines to help you in quality assuring any educational event you organise. The guidelines can also be used as a checklist by individuals to ensure that any learning event attended is worthwhile.
1 December 2007
The Faculty of Public Health no longer accredits meetings for CPD purposes.
This decision has been taken after careful consideration and it brings external meetings into alignment with all other CPD activities.
The Faculty is unable to quality assure meetings and advises that individuals should assess the content of external meetings in relation to their own personal development plan (PDP) and make a judgement about its value. Having attended a meeting, if it provides good quality learning, they should write a reflective note and claim CPD credits.
